Unlike their previous website, I wanted this site to be more user friendly, responsive, and filled with new photography. My goal when designing for the site was for it to appear friendly, family-focused, and modern.
Creating Jin's website was a lot of fun. There were may beautiful images I had to work with, all shot at Jin's tea fields in the Taiwanese mountains. I wanted to feature as many of these photos as possible to show users the unique journey from the tea to the shop, right here in Pasadena, CA.
I worked closely with J. Serene to give the brand a new makeover. I wanted to perpetuate their brand concepts of sophistication, effortless chic, and minimal simplicity throughout the updated look.

Jin Tea Canister Display
Jin's new tea shop needed a total of 16 tea canisters designed for their shop. Throughout the canisters, I used a gradating pattern with a color palette similar to that of the website. The containers are similar, but no two are the same. At first, they were arranged in a gradating pattern, but by a happy accident, we later decided to arrange them randomly, creating more interest.

Archipelago Lightings's newest collection offers a vintage twist on modern LED lightbulbs. With that in mind, I decided on a classic, sophisticated look that showcases the bulbs and their unique properties.

Boiling Point Sauce Box
An on-the-go container for anyone purchasing the Boiling Point sauces to take home. I wanted to make it fun, bold, and punchy, much like Boiling Point's brand.

UT-Wire's rebranding was a big work in progress. With about 45 pieces of packaging needing to be changed, I wanted to switch from the old, cluttered packaging to something more concise with bright pictures that would help users identify what the niche cord organizing products do in an instant. This was achieved by replacing a lot of the text and die windows on the front with a large example image of the product in use. After setting up the branding for their packaging, the same look and feel was reflected across the website and new catalog.
This logo was created for a company that created hand-woven window shades. It represent's the "Johnny Knot", a pattern dedicated the client's father and one she used in her pieces.

FECA is a brand that already exists in the overseas market. They came to use with a goal to push to customers in the US. Their suction cup technology is innovative and new so we had to concisely introduce it to the US market. New photos were taken for their entire product line and a fresh look was created for the already-existing brand to appeal to our target market.
